Practice makes perfect... 2009-06-22 00:00:00 - anytime

The old saying goes "Practice makes perfect". It makes me sad. I get sad whenever I hear, think, smell this saying. That's right, I said smell. Oh internet, why can't I just be good at everything first time? *sigh*. Well World Wide Web, you'd be proud of me, because a couple of weeks ago, I decided to take that toe cringing phrase and put it to practice (no pun intended). You might remember Becky from her engagement session a few months ago. Well, I decided to steal her again to try and "push the boundaries" a bit with my portraits and take me out of my comfort zone and create some slightly different and funky images. Thankfully, she obliged and we had an uber fun afternoon.

Becky, thank you so much for coming along and sharing your personality and charm with me and my camera. You are truly gorgeous and I can't wait to photograph your wedding in November.

Thanks also to Emma and Jade for hair and make-up. You gals did SUCH an amazing job, without which these images would not have come out even close to the way they did. Thank you so much.
